Viola Marie (49)
Passed peacefully away on May 25, 2015 at the Health Sciences Centre, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Viola Marie St. Croix, of Labrador City. Predeceased by her Dad Hugh St. Croix. Leaving heartbroken the light of her life son Eric Delaney, special mention, Eric's father Rick Delaney (Tina) and brother Mark. Loved forever by Mom, Myrtle Mooney St. Croix, and sisters: Ellen, Denise, Annette, and Heather. Five are now only four. She will always be remembered in the hearts of brothers-in-law: Keith Whiteway, Dale Oldford, Gerard Power and Mo Saad. Adding joy to her life nieces and nephews: Nicholas, Alanah, Thomas, Morgan, Cian, Owen and Avery. We will miss our Aunt "O". To be remembered by extended family, friends, co-workers, and clients to whom Viola spent 25 years working as a devoted social worker. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at 4 North A at the Health Sciences Centre. Visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 28th. Funeral Service to take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment will take place at a later date.
