Entered into rest surrounded by her loving family at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 68 years. Leaving to mourn her partner David Barry and their three children; Brian Barry (Natalie), Kerry Lynne Blanchard (Tony) and Dean Barry (April), her four special grandchildren; Jordan Lafitte, Kelsey Blanchard, Joshua Barry and Hayley Barry. Beloved sister to Philip Gabriel in Ontario, Joseph Gabriel (Mary) in New Brunswick and Carolyn Keating (Sears) in Gull Pond as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Prime and Clara (Cormier) Gabriel, her brothers; Duncan Cormier, Edwin Gabriel, Harold Gabriel and Rodderick Gabriel, her sisters Emily Myers and Shirley Gabriel. The family will be receiving friends at Russell's Funeral Home 57 Prince Rupert Drive on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will take place on Saturday May 30th at 10 am from St. Stephen's Parish on West Street with interment in the Hillside Interfaith cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
