Fred John Gattinger, aged 81 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, May 25th, 2015. The Memorial Service will be celebrated on Monday, June 1st, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew’s United Church with Reverend Jim Tenford officiating. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary; brothers: Harry, Raymond and Allan; sisters: Isabelle, Florence and Lillian; and oldest grandson, Adam in 2010. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Irene; sons: Peter (Connie) and their children Alicia (Rob), Lacy (Dean) and their daughter Jade, and Karri (Rob) and their daughter Abigal, Gerry (Patty) and their children Daniel and Julie, and Todd (Whitney) and their children Taylor and Tanner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Fred spent his career at Valley View Center, retiring in 1986 as Director. Through his many volunteer activities, he positively influenced many lives in the community. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred’s name may be made to St. Andrew’s Church, 60 Athabasca St E, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 0L2.
