DAIGLE, LEOPOLD
1928 - 2015
Leopold Daigle, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the age of 86. Born in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Napoleon and Lydie Daigle.
Leopold is survived by his wife Stella of 63 years, sons: Guy (Debbie) , Gil (Carol), late Paul (Irene), George (Dixie), Normand (Shari), and daughter Cathy (Gary), grandchildren: Nicole (Dan), Nancy (Miguel), Joshua (Tracey), Emily (Brent), Amber (Shawn), Erin, Tyler (Kyleen), Jordan, Jasmine, Ian (Jessica), Danielle, and great-grandchildren: Owen, Spencer, and Elena. Leopold will also be missed by his brothers and sisters: Bertha (late Pierre), Marie-Anne (late Eric), Livain (late Jeannine), Emilie (Renald) , Louisa (late Jim), Elmonde (Odilon), Arthur (Aldea).
In addition to his parents Leopold was predeceased by brothers and sisters: Roseline, Edouard, Gerald, Ovila, Sylvain, and Eloi.
The family would like to thank the extra-mural team and Dr. Sharon Northrup for their great care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
A family graveside service will be held at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00pm. Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530.
