Peacefully in Charlottetown on Saturday, May 30, 2015, Kenneth Ivan Jay, age 83 years. Loving husband of Mary (Thompson) and dear father of Garry (Bev), Joanne (Brad), Bernard (Cheryl) and Roberta (Carmen). Grandfather of Matthew (Sue Ann), Peter (Lauren), Kimberly (Craig), Stephanie, Michelle (Jordan), Kristen, Craig, Jennifer (Devon) and Nicole. Brother of Giles Jay and Joyce Murphy. Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Marion (McAdam) Jay, daughter Lorna Jay, brothers and sisters, Genevieve, Raymond, Mildred, Allison, and Sr. Eunice and sister in law Rosalie Jay and brother-in-law Dunstan Murphy. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until 9:45 am Wednesday then to St. Pius X for funeral mass at 10 am. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
