The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, of Patsy Gallant (nee Pineau), wife of the late Dougie Gallant, of North Rustico, aged 73.
Patsy is survived by her brother, Carl Pineau (Bonita); sister-in-law, Sandi Craddock (Frank); brothers-in-law, Moe Sherry, Clarke Gallant (Peggy) and John Barry Gallant; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her husband, Dougie, she was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Lucy Anne (Pineau) Pineau; her first husband, Ted Gallant; brothers, Eddie (Patricia) and Dernie (Velma); sisters, Clara Buote (Alyre) and Diane Sherry; and nephews, Charles Pineau and Eric "Bon" Buote.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
