LOGGIE, GERALDINE
1934 – 2015
Geraldine Loggie, 80, of Pointe-du-Chêne, passed away on Tuesday, June 2nd 2015 at the Moncton Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 28th, 1934 in Pointe-du-Chêne, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mathilda “Tilly” (Petitpas) Wallace.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Jacqueline Loggie and her son Randy Loggie both of Pointe-du-Chêne; two sisters: Edna Thibodeau of Shediac, Bessie Brydges of Moncton; one brother: Cecil Wallace Jr. of Pointe-du-Chêne as well as several nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters: Kathleen “Tuddy”, Dora, Diana and one brother: Patrick “Ti Boy”.
A special thank you to Dr. Sheldon Rubin for taking good care of mom for 15 years; the oncology staff on 6600 at the Moncton Hospital. A special thank you to Joy Belliveau for her devotion and caring for mom, thank you will never be enough. Joy was more than a cousin, she was a sister.
A funeral service will be held at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, June 5th at 10:30am.
