It is with heavy hearts the family of Tara Joanne Mawdsley age 14 of Amherst announce her passing on June 2, 2015, surrounded by her family, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, Upper Nappan.
Born in Moncton NB, she was the daughter of Mark and Joanne (Carroll) Mawdsley.
Tara loved spending time with friends, she loved going to school she loved Olaf as much as she loved her friends and she also loved to shop at Walmart.
She will be missed and loved by her parents Mark and Joanne; brother Mckenzie; grandparents Kenneth “Bucky” and Margaret “Buttons” Pettigrew; grandmother “newfie nanny” Aneitha Carroll; great- grandmothers Phyllis Simmonds, Phyllis Mawdsley, Agnes-Jane Crewe and best friend Georgia Mattinson, many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.
Tara was predeceased by her aunt Georgina (Carroll) Cox, Uncle Brian Carroll and Grandfather Fred Carroll
Visitation will take place Thursday June 4, 2015 from 2- 4 and 7 – 9 pm at Campbell’s Funeral Home, (98 Church St. 902-667-9906).
A private interment will take place at a later date in the Amherst Cemetery.
