The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 of Eva M. Gaudet, formerly of St. Louis, aged 86 years.
She was born in St. Louis on April 6, 1929, the daughter of the late Maurice and Agnes (Veno) Myers.
Dear mother to the late Donnie (partner Pierre), Montreal, Allan (Marlene) Gaudet, Alberton, Sharon (Paul) Shea, Tignish, Ivy (Steve) Band, Stratford, Rodney (Lois) Gaudet, Kildare, Lorna (Dean) Vanderkaay, Stratford, and Rick (Twila) Gaudet, Hantsport, N.S. Loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Julia (Brendon) Bell, Lower Malpeque Road, Charlottetown, Macrena (John) Roberge, Ottawa and Ada (late Ben) Perry, St. Louis. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Agnes; brothers, Fred, Leo and Wilfred Mallett; sister, Emma Bernard; brothers, Eddie, Bobby, Henry and Johnny Myers; and the father of her children, Clifford Gaudet, of Tignish Shore.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Funeral will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 2 p.m.
Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Immaculate Conception Church Restoration Fund would be greatly appreciated.
Interment in the church cemetery.
