EASSON, RONALD
Mr. Ronald John Easson formerly of McLean Street, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the age of 77. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland he was the son of the late John Easson of Aberdeen Scotland and Evelyn Findlay also of Aberdeen and the husband of the late Arla (Readman) Easson who passed away August 13, 2012.
Ron was a proud Scotsman and a dedicated Bible student and spent much of his life on the Ocean. After being baptized at the age of 16 at the Christadelphian Ecclesia in Aberdeen he joined the merchant marines and went to sea. During this period of his life he visited many places worldwide always seeking out other Christadelphians when he could. Ron made friends with people all over the world. He eventually was employed by the Canadian Coast Guard.
He married Arla on September 11, 1965 and together had two sons; Ken and Gordon both of Toronto. He is fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Nipun wife of Ken and his two grandchildren Krystal Jazz, and Zaiden as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service celebrating Mr. Easson’s life will be held from Christadelphian Eccelesia on 201 Roachville Road at 7:30 PM on Wednesday June 10, 2015.
