Hubert will be remembered for his jovial laugh which could fill a room. This kind and caring man loved life to the fullest. He was a family man who put his family first, ensuring that they had a sincere love of nature. He loved to take them into the great outdoors and exploring his beloved wilderness whenever and however he could. So unfortunately for them and him he was taken from his life he loved far too early. Left with his wonderful memory are his wife Lorraine and his beloved children Kelsey and Philip. He is predeceased by his parents Doris and Cecil Smith. Survived by his stepmother Susan, his brother Byron (Donna), Sisters Brenda (Paul O'Dea) and Karen (Blair Morgan). Father-in-law Philip J. Hawco; his sister-in-law Cathie (John Murray), Sharon (Sherman Pevie), Maureen (Tim Myers). He also left many wonderful friends who love and miss him dearly. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Monday June 8th, 2015 at 10 am at Russells Funeral Home Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
