FAIRWEATHER, RALPH
Ralph Levi Fairweather passed away peacefully at the Oromcto Public Hospital on Friday, June 5th, 2015 after a period of failing health. He was 86 years old. Ralph was born on August 16th, 1928 in Cumberland Bay the son of the late William and Viola (Miller) Fairweather.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Weaver (John); sons, Roy Fairweather both of Cumberland Bay and Gary Fairweather of Hunter’s Home; brothers, Waldo (Ida) and Alvin (Geraldine); sister-in-law, Bertha (Ronald) Whalin and family of New Jersey, U.S.A. Ralph was loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Audrey Daye; infant son; his second wife, Joan M. Miller and daughter, Diane Lewis.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive comfort at the Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. & Crematorium on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015 from 1 to 3 pm. Immediately followed by a graveside service and committal at the Cumberland Bay United Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Cumberland Bay Senior’s Hall.
Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Cumberland Bay United Church Cemetery Fund or the Cumberland Bay Baptist Church Roof Fund.
