Alice Mae Brown, 83, of Sydney passed away June 6, 2015, in Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney.
Mae was the daughter of the late Donald John and Effie Mary (MacIntyre) MacDonald.
Mae is survived by her sister-in-law Eileen MacDonald, Dutch Brook; nephews, Allan (Anita) MacDonald, Grand Mira South, their family Dylan, Jory, Lucas and Callie whom she resided with for the past 12 years, Blair (Karen) MacDonald, Grand Mira South, their family, Michael and Matthew, and Brad (Korena) MacDonald, Dutch Brook and their family Mitchell and Lauren.
Mae was the house mother for St. Rita’s Hospital, School of Nursing.
She was predeceased by her husband Calvin and a brother Allister.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Sydney Memorial Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Thomas Whent officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
