It is with great sadness thet the families of Leonard Patrick Raike announce his Quiet passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, June 6th, 2015, at the age of 77 years, with Keith & (Jackie) at his bedside. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his son: Keith (Jackie) Raike, his daughter: Judy (David) Guy, his siblings: Maxine (John) Vivian, of Deer Lake, NL, Marina Gummer, of Mayville, North Dakota, June Raike of Labrador City, Bob Raike of Winnipeg, Manitoba, & Lionel (Elizabeth) Raike of Labrador, City, his grandchildren: Heather Raike of Deer Lake, Samantha Peeples of Lethbridge, AB, Timothy Raike of Deer Lake, & Stephen Guy of Deer Lake, his sister-in-law: Robina Raike of Deer Lake, his loyal & faithful companion his dog: B.J., Len was predeceased by his parents: Enos & Greta Raike, his brother: Cecil Raike, & granddaughter: Robyn Guy. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, many realtives in Bonne Bay, extended families, & friends. The family will be receiving family & friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday, June 8th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, June 9th, 2015, at 2: pm with Rev: Myles Vardy officiating with the burial to follow at the United Church section of The Deer Lake, Interdenominational Cemetery, on Wight's Road, Deer Lake, NL.
