Pauline Bernadette Marie Cloutier, age 85, of Swift Current SK, passed away on May 31, 2015 at Cypress Regional Hospital. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Solange (Keith) Haysom of Surrey BC, son, Daniel (Hilary) Cloutier of Canmore AB, son Richard (Janet) Cloutier of Swift Current SK, son, Norman (Andrea) Cloutier of Regina SK, 15 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland, her daughter, Adele, her son, Claude and her parents, Albert and Clara Provencal, her sister, Lucy, her brother, Paul and her grandson, Travis. Pauline attended school at Royer Convent, then at Ponteix school. Pauline married Roland Arthur Joseph Cloutier on April 7, 1953. Pauline worked as a nursing aide at the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home while also running a boarding house. Pauline was a member of the Catholic Women's League. She loved to socialize and cook for her family. Her yard was her passion and she tended to her flower beds and garden with a very keen eye and a green thumb. Pauline had a very hard, difficult life and she never lost her faith in God, believing that everything in life had his purpose. She had a very strong work ethic which she passed on to her children. Her mother frequently told her that she came from pioneer stock and that the family would always surround her. The memorial service was held on June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Catholic Church, Ponteix SK. with Father Guy Amedee Ainemon officiating. The soloist was Pauline's granddaughter, Mary Siever. The interment service was held at the Ponteix Parish Cemetery, Ponteix SK. In Pauline's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Lemieux Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
