Ola LeBlanc, 76 of Bouctouche Sud, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Moncton City Hospital on Monday June 8, 2015. He was married to Simonne (Collette) LeBlanc. Born on June 22, 1938 in Shemogue, he was the son of the late Adolphe and the late Emma (Bourque) LeBlanc.
He was an Air traffic controller with the US Air Force for 3 to 4 years.
He will be sadly by his wife Simonne, his son Laurie (Jeannette) of Bouctouche, and his sister Rosella Bourque (André) of Barachois and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one brother, Laurie.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
