It is with broken hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Lawrence Stevens, on June 7, 2015 at Inverary Manor, Inverness.
Formerly of Northside East Bay, he was the son of the late Lawson and Lillian (Wile) Stevens.
Bob is survived by daughter, Laura (Mike) MacDonald; son, Lawrence (Lourinda) Stevens; sister, Chris and brother, Stuart; he is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, Judy, Shaun and Kylah, and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Logan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Helen Stevens in 2014; son, Brian and daughter, Sandy; brother, Robert and sisters, Josephine, Irene, Marjorie, Kathleen and Pearl
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Reception to follow. Burial to take place in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
