1920 - 2015
Denise Blanchette, passed away peacefully at Villa Providence on June 9, 2015, at the age of 95. Born in St. Ignace, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Delphine Richard (Maillet).
Denise is survived by her sisters: Edith (late Albert), Laurianne (late Yvon), Norma (Vital), Dorice (Léon), and by one brother Jean-Baptiste (Loretta), as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Fernand Blanchette, brothers: Alban, Ulysse and sister Ursulla.
At her request cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Denise’s life will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00am with visitation from 10:00am until time of service.
The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Providence for the care and compassion shown to Denise.
