ELLIOTT, Charles Arthur – 91, Truro, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, June 11, 2015, at The Mira Long Term Care Facility, Truro. Born December 31, 1923, in Stewiacke, he was a son of the late Gordon and Jessie (Chapman) Elliott. Charles is survived by his children, Robin Elliott, Holly Elliott, Truro; Darryl Elliott, London, Ontario. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Doris (Lamborne); second wife, Georgie (Murphy); son, Dwight Elliott. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Charles’ family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015, followed by the funeral service at 3:30 p.m., Reverend Dr. David Sutherland officiating. Interment in Masstown Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Charles’ memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
