Alvina was a proud wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, as well as a dear and caring friend and neighbor who was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved the farm and all that went with farm life, from driving a grain truck to taking meals to the field, and gardening - she was still involved in the farm operation until her passing. She loved playing cards and games and was a fierce competitor all her life. She had annual seasons tickets for Stars for Saskatchewan and always enjoyed the performances. She enjoyed life and made the most of every day. Do not stand At my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep, I am a thousand winds That blow, I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight On ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awake in the Morning's hush I am the soft uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star that Shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there I did not die. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
