LAMB, PHYLLIS J. “JOAN”
Phyllis "Joan" Lamb, 81, of Monarch Hall, Riverview, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, June 11, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Grace (Ward) Lamb.

Joan was a retired secretary to the President of the Lounsbury Co. Ltd., with 42 years' service. She was a member of St. John's United Church, a former Church Elder and Sunday School teacher and served her church in various other capacities in past years. She was a member of the I.O.D.E. and the Moncton Women's Liberal Association and former member of the Mountain Woods Golf Club. An avid bridge player, Joan loved travelling, especially to New York for shopping and Broadway shows and socializing with her family and friends.

Joan will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Anne Lamb (Barry Renouf) of Moncton; nieces, Jennifer Lamb (Jeff Gallant) of Riverview and Amy Lamb (Danny Boljkovac) of Moncton; nephew, Craig Lamb; great nephew, Nolan Gallant and several cousins. In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her brother, James "Jim" Lamb (2007).

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Joan's life will be held at St. John's United Church, Alma Street, Moncton on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm with The Rev. Aaron Billard officiating. Reception following the service. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.
