MacDONALD, JOHN "JACK" BRUCE
With a broken heart, the family of Jack MacDonald, husband of Shirley MacDonald, announces his passing; he has gone to be with his Lord on June 12th, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born in Saint John on December 10, 1939, he was the son of Louis and Rachel (Maxwell) MacDonald, and worked in the insurance field, offering both life insurance, and Blue Cross. Jack loved meeting the guys at Burger King, and also at Tim Hortons. He was a dedicated Canadiens fan, and always enjoyed watching their games.
In addition to his wife of 28 and a half years Shirley, Jack is survived by his sons Bruce and Andrew, daughters Susan Cyr and Karen MacDonald, stepson Raymond Garrett, stepdaughter Karen Garrett, and grandchildren Matthew and Mya MacDonald, step-grandson, Dylan Garrett, and his special niece, Kindred.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
