It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of C. Diane Gorrill age 69 of River Hebert on June 13th, 2015 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan.
Diane was born December 15th, 1945 in Truro, NS she was a daughter of the late John and Georgina (Morrison) Hennigar.
Diane enjoyed traveling near and far especially the train trip to Alberta and the visit to Ottawa as well as many hours where spend at the beach. The greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Sherri (Michael) Grant, River Hebert, Lisa (Jeff) Richards, Amherst; grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, Ashley, Brandon and Emily; sisters, Bonnie (Eddy) Power, Lorraine (Dale) Lynds and Brenda McCarthy all of Truro; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by her husband, Harold; daughter, Dechia; and granddaughter, Lisa both in infancy.
As per Diane’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life for Diane will be held on Thursday, June 18th, 2015 at 2 pm from Campbell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with Rev. Byron Corkum presiding. Reception will follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Diane’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
