SHORT, PEARL AGNES ALFREDA
Pearl Short of McAdam, NB passed away June 15, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Pearl was born in West Devon, PEI in 1923, a daughter of the late John and Sarah (Boylan) McArthur.
She was an avid knitter. Pearl was a member of the church for nearly eighty years.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Marilyn), McAdam, NB and Phillip (Ida), Harvey, NB; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Green (Don), Astle, NB; nine grandchildren, Brian, Tammy, Kelly, Sarah, Billy, Kim, Karen, Tim and Miranda; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lillian McArthur, Harvey, NB and Lila McArthur, Stewiake, NS; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Irvine G. Short; a son, Glendon; a grandson, Bradley; two brothers, Everett and Robert Boyd McArthur and two sisters, Irene Roy and Elsie Oliver.
Visiting hours will be held at Voice of Pentecost Church, 82 Harvey Road, McAdam, NB on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2 pm from the church with Pastor Stephen Tompkins officiating. Interment at Rockland Cemetery.
