CONLEY, BERNICE
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bernice (Keating) Conley which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June 17th, 2015. Born 1944, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna (Byers) Keating.
Bernice enjoyed knitting and sewing. She loved family get-togethers. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Bernice is survived by her loving husband Ronald of 50 years; son Ronald (Tammy) of Saint John; daughter Marsha Lockhart (Doug) of Nerepis; brothers Ronald (Dawn) of Musquash, Allan, Jack (Thelma), and Andrew (Marg) all of Saint John; sisters Lorraine Taylor (Bill), Gloria Collings, and Doris Green (Sonny) all of Saint John; grandchildren Chelsey, Matthew, Andrew, Madeline, Molly and Mya; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, Bernice was predeceased by her brothers Bobby and Donald Keating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, June 19th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, June 20th at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Bernice may be made to the Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
