Madeline Chatters

CHATERS, MADELINE
In Loving Memory of Madeline Elizabeth (nee Wry) Chaters, 85 years,
Thursday, June 18th, 2015 at Pioneer Manor, Sudbury.
Beloved wife of Cecil Chaters predeceased 1990. Loving mother of Gary (Linda) of Mississauga and Darrell (Kim) of Noelville. Cherished grandmother of Brent (Caroline), Tricia, Andrea (Nathan), Craig (Danielle) and great granddaughter Charlotte. Dear daughter of Arthur and Maude (nee Shirley) Wry both predeceased. Dear sister of Harry (predeceased), Beulah (predeceased), Dorothy, Betty, Bob, Lorraine, and Clyde. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
Born in Harcourt, New Brunswick, Madeline came to Sudbury in 1951 then on to Levack where she raised her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who adored her precious grandchildren, great grand daughter and her special niece Connie, truly the daughter she never had, who contributed significantly to nanny’s (Madeline’s) care over the years, for that we will be forever grateful. She enjoyed bowling when she was younger and cooking and quilting.
The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North for the care they provided and a special thank you to the staff of the Tulip Wing of Pioneer Manor for the exceptional care they provide. We truly felt like she was with family when we could not be present.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call after 11:30am Sunday).
Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Sunday, June 21st, 2015 at 1pm. Thence to a Memorial Service at the Harcourt United Church, New Brunswick, Monday, July 6th, 2015 at 1:00 P.M., followed by interment in the United Church Cemetery, Harcourt, New Brunswick.
