McAllister, Bobbie Earnest
It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Bobbie Earnest McAllister who passed away at the Kingsway Care Centre in Quispamsis on June 17th, 2015.
He was born in Tilley, NB, March of 1928, the son of the late Harry and Helen (Moorecraft) McAllister. Bobbie served in the Military from 1956-1983 having had an interesting career. He travelled with the Canadian Armed Forces Military Tattoo 1966-1967 across Canada. After a number of postings, including Germany and Egypt, he retired in 1983 in Halifax, NS with rank of Master Warrant Officer. Bobbie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #52, Moss Glen and former member of RCEME. He is survived by his devoted wife Maxine (Goodine) McAllister of Long Reach; daughter Judy McAllister of Scotland; sons James (Barbara) of Saskatoon, SK and David (Joyce) of St. Thomas, ON; step son George M. White of Fredericton; step daughter Barbara Spence of Long Reach; daughter-in-law Candy McAllister of Innisfail, AB; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a number of nieces, nephews, friends and constant canine companion Zoey. Besides his parents, Bobbie was predeceased by his son Patrick McAllister; wife Pauline LeBlanc; sister Vesta Dube; brothers Henry, Samuel, John, Arthur, Donald, Clair, Thomas and Roy. Bobbie was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424)
