Nettie Riordon
1914 - 2015
Mrs. Nettie Riordon, 101, wife of the late Thomas F. Riordon, passed away on Friday June 19, 2015 at the Foyer -Dame de-Lourdes of Bathurst, formely from Pokeshaw. She was the daughter of the late Emanuel Quinn and the late Angelina St-Laurent.
She is survived by three sons: Thomas (Rolande) from Miramichi, George (Jeanne-Mance) from Pokeshaw and Bernard (Lillian) from Pokeshaw; two daughters: Mary Jane (John Simms) from Maple Ridge, BC and Katherine (Morven Gentleman) from Halifax; an adopted son: Leo Lavigne (Claudette) from New Bandon; one brother: Ernest Quinn (Anna) from London, Ont; and also many grand-children, great-grand-children, nephew and nieces.
She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Visits at the funeral home will be held on Monday, June 22nd. The funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 23rd, at 11 a.m. at St-Simon and St-Jude church in Grande-Anse.
In memory of Mrs. Riordon, a donation can be made to the Pokeshaw and Black Rock Recreactional Coucil, St-Simon and St-Jude Parish, Foyer Notre-Dame de Lourdes or to a charity of your choice.
Visiting hours: Monday 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm and Tuesday 9:30am to 10:30am.
