It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed peacefully away on Wednesday, June 18, 2015 age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Ron and Mary; brother Levi, John, William, Joe; sisters Ethel, Linda and Violet. Left with fond and precious memories his best friend and soul mate of 50 years, Florence (nee Linegar); son David (Claire); daughter Rhonda (Trevor Bull); granddaughters Krystal (Don Pike), Deidrei; grandsons who were his little buddies Ryan and Tyler David; great granddaughter Zoe; brother Ralph and sister Mary (Joe); his faithful companions Snoopy, Shep, Buddy and Callie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dad was a true Leafs fan; his little man cave was a true testament to his hockey passion. He loved his woodworking hobby of making and painting his characters. He found peace and solace trouting and puttering around his garden. Dad always had a smile for all he met. Even in his hardest days he always mustered up a smile. But his truest passion was his love for his family and true love and light of his life - Florence. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. "Fly high with the Angels, until we meet again". Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from St. John Bosco Church at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
