It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Butt announce her passing on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. Leaving to mourn her loving and devoted husband of 56 years Bramwell, her pride and joy son: Robbie (Tonya), precious granddaughters: Jenesta and Megan, sisters: Patsy (John), Doreen (Archie), Glenys (Lloyd), brother: Hedley (Mary), sisters-in-law: Maude and Hilda, a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her bingo buddies Yvonne and Louise. She was predeceased by her parents Bernetta (Hedley) LeDrew, brothers: Ronald, Terry, and Jerry, father-in-law Duncan Butt, brother-in-law Edward Skeard. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street on Monday, June 22, from 7:00-9:00 PM and Tuesday, June 23, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Curling Memorial United Church, Curling Street on Wednesday June 24, at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Wendy Lowden officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Curling Memorial United Church.
