Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 5th day of June, 2015, Mr. Vernon Diamond of Nameless Cove in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Maude; children Sharon (Alvin), Sandra (David), Wanda (Alvin), Kevin (Selma), Lois (Mervin), Karen (Wayne), and David (Peggy); 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation took place at the Gospel Hall in Nameless Cove from where the funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8 with Mr. Wallace Buckle and Mr. Eric Fowler officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
