It is with great sadness that the family of the late Monty Osmond announce his passing on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Derek (Lori), Ottawa, Keith (Michelle), Ottawa and Janine (Stephen) Pelham, Halifax; grandchildren: Joel, Paige, Connor, Charlotte, Jared, Jack and Simon; sisters: Marjorie Budgell, Elizabeth "Bet" Ball, Dorothy "Dot" Reid and Marie King; brother Ford Osmond; sister-in-law Patsy Quinlan; brother-in-law Ed Woodrow; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Nellie Osmond, parents Nathaniel and Daisy Osmond, sister Doreen Andrews, sister-in-law Carm Norris and brother-in-law Tom Woodrow. Friends may visit Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena on Monday, June 29 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
