We have been honored and humbled by the celebration of the life of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. We thank all of our family and friends for love, kindness and support extended us – especially to those who travelled from Halifax, Moncton, Ontario and Alberta. Sincerest thanks for your comforting condolences via sympathy and Mass cards, phone calls, e-mails, flowers and charitable memorials. To everyone who provided us with comfort food, including Westside Legion at the Reception – your kindness was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the members of the Naval Veterans Association and Westside Legion for their moving services at the visitation, the Honour Guard provided 2nd the interment ceremony. Kudos to all the staff and volunteers of the AnCala Unit whose compassion made the final month comfortable for Lou and his family. Special thanks to comrade and friend, Martin MacKinnon, for your many, many, many hospital visits. Our appreciation to Holy Rosary Choir, 2nd servers for sharing their gifts in the Mass celebrated by Father Greg Murphy. In unison with Father Al Mavoun and Father Frank Abbass; Litergical presenters – Barbara, Donna and Justin; Pall Bearers- Philip, Dougie, Joe, Rick, Paul and Justin.
