Alan James Cameron
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, June 26, 2015, of Alan James Cameron of Summerside, aged 78 years. Alan was born in Wellington to his late parents Philip and Mildred (Cameron) Cameron. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Brown) Cameron and loving father of Cindy of Alberta, Phillip (Colleen), Loretta, Harold (Nicole) of Alberta and Timmy. Also lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren: Colton, Jordan, Dakota, Nicholas, Riley, Jesse, Tiffany, Reese; and several nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters: Cecil Cameron, Vernon (Donna) Cameron, Frances Doyle, Merrill Cameron and Leonard (Juanita) Cameron; brother-in-law Leonard Arsenault. Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his son Paul James Cameron (in infancy); brothers Emmett and Raymond Cameron; sisters Helen Fitzgerald, Mary Arsenault, Edith and Loretta Cameron (in infancy); brothers-in-law Audrey Doyle and Les Fitzgerald and sisters-in-law Clara and Viola Cameron. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday, July 1, then to Immaculate Conception Church, Wellington, for a funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Alan’s memory to the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
