Joan Duzan, aged 78 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Sunday, May 31st, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert (Bob) Duzan; and her parents, Margaret and John Hollinger of Neudorf, SK. Joan will be lovingly remembered by her children: Kimi, Marshall (Donna) and Kirby (Rosemarie); and her 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Joan was a homemaker for much of her life. Once her kids grew, she worked in banquet service and at Chez Nous Senior Citizens Home as a care aide. Joan retired at the age of 67. Joan’s legacy are the many gifts of sewing, crocheting and quilting given to family and friends. We thank Dr. Brown for his care as well as the staff at Pioneers Lodge and the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 3rd, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Drive, Moose Jaw, SK with Reverend John Kreutzwieser officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joan’s name may be made to Five Hills Health Region/Pioneers Lodge, 1000 Albert St, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2Y2 or a charity of one’s choice.
