It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He died surrounded by the love of his family, whom he cherished. Born in Bonavista to Arthur and Maria Fifield, he lived in Mount Pearl since 1952. Predeceased by his wife Annie (nee Ivany) in 2008. Their children are left with loving memories: Doug (Maxine), Randy (Mary), Diane (Paul Butt), Karen (Ian Munn); Jim (Heather), Ken (Connie); also 14 grandchildren and 20 great - grandchildren; and extended family and friends. Thanks to the staff at Agnes Pratt Home where he was resided from February 2015 - June 2015, and thanks to staff of Ruby Manor where he resided from 2011 - 2014. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday from 7- 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will take place from The Worship Centre on Wednesday July 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow, in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
