The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Monday, June 29, 2015, of Mary Judith “Eva” Bernard of Palmer Road aged 94 years. Wife of the late Wilfred J. Bernard. She was born in Palmer Road on April 19, 1921, the daughter of the late John Amie and Mary Judith Arsenault. She is survived by her son Kevin (Arlene) Bernard, Palmer Road, and grandsons Shane (Jenny) Bernard, Palmer Road, and Tim (Kerry) Bernard, Ottawa, On. Loving grandmother to Cassandra Bernard, Tacita Hardy, Olivia Bernard, Sara Bernard and Mckinley Bernard. She is also survived by a sister Hilda DesRoches, Alberton. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Wilfred, brothers and sisters Jane, Eugene, Amie, Louise, Isabelle, Aldon, Nelson, Kate and Josephine. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road, for visiting hours Thursday evening 7-9 p.m. Funeral on Friday with time to be announce later.
