It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Tapp announce her passing on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sisters: Jean (Guy) Label of Quebec, Patsy Ivany of Grand Falls- Windsor, Joy (Ross) Boone of Cotrells Cove, brothers: Cyril (Margaret), Winston, Bob (Maryjane) all residing in Guelph, Ontario, and a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Ambrose, parents: Ford (Ruth) Brenton and brother-in-law: Harry Ivany. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday July 2nd from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM and Friday July 3rd from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday July 4th at 2:00 PM from All Saints Anglican Church on Clarence Street with Reverend Tanya White and Reverend Derek Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
