BOUDREAU, MARIE
Marie, loving wife of Edmond Boudreau, passed away suddenly at home on Friday July 3, 2015.
She leaves to mourn her loving sons: Guy (Elsée) of Cap-Pelé and Normand (Rachel) of Shediac. She was a proud and devoted grand-mother to Samuel (Julie), Monica, Mélanie, and Joël (Nistelle); her two brothers: Alphonse (Germaine) of Cap-Pelé and Joseph (Jeannette) of Haute-Aboujagane; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Prior to her retirement, Marie had been employed 30 years at Edmond Gagnon Ltd.
Marie was a wonderful person who showed love, compassion and encouragement to everyone she met. She loved to play cards, bingo and doing puzzles with her many friends and neighbours. Marie was eager to wake up each morning to go outside for her daily walk; she enjoyed life, the beauty of nature and feeding her hummingbirds. She looked forward to frequent getaway weekends to Bangor and Maine, with her husband of 52 years. Marie also enjoyed the holidays, especially baking cookies for her four grandchildren. We will miss her beyond words but we find comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her parents, Alfred and Alice Doiron.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). Visiting hours Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm, and Wednesday from 9:30 am until departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, 2648 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Wednesday July 8 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
