of Portugal Cove and Long-time employee with the city of St. John's, Passed peacefully away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Health Science Centre, age 77 years. Predeceased by his daughter - in - law Louise Fowlow and sister Catherine Martin. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his cherished wife of 51 years Gladys (nee Somerton); children Wayne (Cheryl), Eddie (Kim), Bonnie (Grant), Tina (Gerald), Walter, Kayla (Adam) and step son Bill (Jennifer); 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sisters Betty Schweighart, Amy Ballak and Madonna Daly. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Monday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from Caul's Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the St. John's SPCA.
