The death occurred at Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Saturday, July 4, 2015, of Gordon Douglas Mullins of Glenwood, aged 57 years, husband of Hazel (MacArthur) Mullins. Born on Dec. 4, 1957, in Moncton, N.B., son of the late Leo Edward and Norma (Steeves) Mullins. Loving father to Melissa (Randy) Cormier, Charlottetown, and Trevor (Amanda), O’Leary. Beloved grandfather to Zander and Vienna. Gordon is survived by sisters and brothers, Debbie (Grant) Campbell; Boyd Mullins; Steven (Cathy) Mullins; and Sharon Mullins (Mike), all of Moncton, N.B. Also mother-in-law Helen (Dumville) MacArthur; brother-in-law Owen (Joan) MacArthur, Knutsford; David (Marcella) MacArthur, Coleman and Ivan (Nicole) MacArthur, O’Leary. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, brother Greg in infancy and father-in-law Wesley MacArthur. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow after service. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Gordon, memorials to O’Leary Community Health Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated.
