Ethel Lutes

LUTES, ETHEL
Ethel Marion Lutes, formerly of Jones Street and Chateau Mapleton, passed away peacefully at Serena Care Special Care Residence on Friday July 3, 2015.
Born in Moncton, NB, in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Joanna (Penny) Butler.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed by her daughter Leslie (Brian) Manning of Edmonton, son Dana (Sheila) Lutes of Moncton, grandchildren; Laura (Daniel) Leffelaar of Calgary, Spencer Manning of Vancouver, Fraser (Melissa) Manning of Edmonton, Sarah and Courtney Lutes both of Moncton. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; Brittney, Madison, Chloe, Conner, Mataya, Cohen and Asher, as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents, Ethel was predeceased by her husband George H. Lutes (1983).
Ethel was a former employee of the T Eaton Company and was a long time member of the Eastern Star.
The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you for the loving care given Ethel at Serena Care and those who visited her so faithfully.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm. The will be an Eastern Star Memorial Service on Monday at 6:45pm by members of the Frank H. Tingley Chapter #5 Moncton. Funeral service will be held at the St. Georges Anglican Church, 51 Church St. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00am. Family will be receiving friends an hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
Donations in Ethel’s memory may be made to St. Georges Anglican Church Memorial Fund, the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
