The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, July 4, 2015, of Greg, beloved husband of Denise (nee DesRoches), of Hazel Grove, aged 54.
Greg was the father of Leah-Anne and Nicole; and grandfather of three. Greg is also survived by his mother, Evelyn (McDougall) Carriere; sister, Brenda Anne; four sisters and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and his co-workers at Paderno. He will be missed by his faithful companion, Kayah, the family dog. Greg was predeceased by his father, John Francis Carriere; his parents-in-law, Francis Tilman and Mary Elizabeth DesRoches; and his grandparents, Irvin and Thelma McDougall.
There will not be a visitation. A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at Central Queen’s United Church, Hunter River, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
