At Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, of Donald Paul Wood, formerly of Kensington and Norboro, aged 82 years.
Born in Charlottetown on March 22, 1933, son of the late Almon and Ida Wood, Marshfield.
Husband of Trudy McMahon and the late Mary (nee Freeman) Wood. Father of Dayle Craig, Russell, Ontario; Lori Ann (Brian) Carty, Kemptville, Ontario, and Kent (Krista) Wood, Norboro. Grandfather of Andrew, Laura and Glenn Craig; Lisa and Ian Carty; and Jaimie Wood. Brother of Jane Phillips, Saint John, N.B.; Blair, N.S.; Elsie McLeod, Edmonton, AB; David (Barb), Marshfield; and Isabel (Lloyd) Hughes, Cole Harbour, N.S. Brother-in-law of Doris Wood and Ralph Hennigar. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Also survived by the members of Trudy's family.
Predeceased by his brother, Wallace Wood; sisters, Heather Wood and Elizabeth MacLeod; as well as brothers-in-law, Fred Phillips and Chester MacLeod, and sisters-in-law, Andrea Wood and Margaret Hennigar.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. No visitation by personal request. A private service celebrating Don's life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. An open house for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2 to 4 p.m. at the family home, 23766 Rte. 2, Norboro.
