Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, George Cole of Carbonear, age 78 years. Predeceased by daughter: Jackie; infant son: John; parents: Eva and Harry; brother-in-law: Jim Kestner. Left to mourn, wife: Bessie; one son: Jeffrey (Sonya) Cole, Labrador City; one granddaughter: Taylor; one brother: Albert (Frances), Salmon Cove; two sisters: Viola (Phillip) Clarke, Carbonear and Lillian Keztner, Virginia, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Rev. Kenneth Penney conducted the Funeral Service on Saturday, July 11 from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment took place in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
