WOOD, RONALD MILTON
Ronald M. Wood of Southampton, NB passed away July 10, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ron was born at Amherst, NS in 1945, a son of the late Walter and Marie (Sarson) Wood.
He had recently retired from his work as a paper maker, first with St. Anne Nackawic and then AV Nackawic. Ron was an avid guitar player and enjoyed singing, boating and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Wood; his children, John Wood (Mylene) and Robert Wood; his step-children, Sonya Brown (Jonathan), Donna Glidden (Tim) and Cindy Lambert (Mario); his grandchildren, Jimmy, Maddie, Kelsey and Nick; a sister, Eva Partington (Brodie); a brother, Gordon Wood (Marjorie); a sister-in-law, Debbie Phillips (Lonnie) and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his previous wife, Kim (Melanson) Wood.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. when a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating. Interment will be at Otis Cemetery followed by a reception in the funeral home dining room.
