HUNTER, FRANCES A.
Frances A. (Ryan) Hunter, 91, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Spencer Memorial Home. She was born in Lewisville, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Mary A. (Hoey) Ryan.
Frances’ early interests included both choral and instrumental music. She was employed by the Civil Service in Ottawa, ON during WWII. She then went on to work in the Canadian National Railways Express office.
Frances was a member of the Lewisville Baptist Church, Life Member of the Women’s Missionary Society and Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 (Moncton).
Frances is survived by her daughter, Hilary Snell (Rev. Stephen) of Ammon; grandchildren, Timothy Snell (Janna) of Maine, USA, Robert Snell of Moncton and Heidi McGall (Spencer), of New Hampshire; her sister, Mrs. Virginia Downing (Arthur) and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Barney Hunter; two brothers, Gordon and Bertram and one sister, Mrs. Vivian Phinney (Eldon).
A private funeral will be held. Interment will be in the Hopewell Hill Cemetery in Hopewell, Hill, NB.
The family would like to thank each member of the Spencer Home team for the loving and professional care that they gave to Frances while she resided with them.
