FINNIE, ROBERTA ETHEL
Roberta E. (Bobbie) Finnie of Fredericton, NB and formerly of Magaguadavic, NB, passed away July 13, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Roberta was born in 1934, a daughter of the late Harold and Grace (O’Donnell) Ward.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonny Amos (Gary), Lower Coverdale, NB; a son, Glen Finnie, Geary, NB; four grandchildren, Aaron Amos (Carla), Jonathan Amos, Jeremy Finnie and Cory Finnie; two great granddaughters, Lily and Maddison; a sister, Mera Rutledge (Jack); three brothers, Frank Ward (Robin), Darrell Ward (Edith) and Jeff Ward (Sharon); a brother-in-law, Carvel Finnie (Patricia); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Blake Finnie; a daughter, Darlene; two sisters, Leona Powers and Alice Telesco; three brothers, Norton Ward, John Ward and infant Glenwood.
Visiting hours will be held at the Harvey United Pentecostal Church, 2031 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 2 pm from the church with Rev. Todd McGuire and Rev. Jack Leaman officiating. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Amos, Jonathan Amos, Jeremy Finnie, Cory Finnie, Blaine Hickey and Eric Ward.
