JAMIESON, IRIS
Iris Jamieson, 82, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Born in Romford, England, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Doris (Potter) Garrett.
Iris was a former Customer Demonstrator with Sobeys’ and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Parkton). She loved raising her family and enjoyed helping her daughters with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Iris enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends from afar through writing letters.
Iris will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Susan Truckel (John) of Toronto, ON, Ruth Grady (Major) of Summerside, PE, Deborah Totino (Tony) of Halifax, NS and last, but not least, Sarah Dort (John) of Moncton; husband of 59 years, Andrew “Andy” Jamieson; grandchildren, Tarin, Andy, Amanda, Alysia, Nicco, Andre, Caleb, Matthew, Jakob, Liam and Isabela; great-grandchildren, Alegra and Charlotte; sisters, Doris, Frances and June, all of the UK and Sandra of Australia; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank.
A Service to celebrate Iris’ life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Parkton) (across from the YMCA), Moncton, on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) in care of arrangements. The family would welcome your presence at the celebration.
