BELL, DOROTHY
Dorothy C. Bell, 97, of Beauport Street Shediac, passed away on July 14th at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Summerfield NB on June 10, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Merrill and Amy (Green) Gee.
She was an Avon representative for 14 years in Saint John. Dorothy also had an extensive doll collection. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, Legion Ladies Auxiliary and A.C.W. of Shediac Cape.
She is survived by four daughters: Elizabeth Bragg (Leroy) of Maine, Margaret Theodoss, of Massachusetts, Donna Breau (Paul) of Shediac, Beverly Sheehan of Georgia; one sister: Vivian Clark of Maine; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband late Donald (1991), three sisters, one brother, a son: Donald and an infant daughter: Vivian.
There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held in St. Martins in the Woods, 3394 route 134, Shediac Cape, on Friday, July 17th at 11:00am, followed by a reception in the church hall.
In memory of Dorothy, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
